Another Dinar Dealer Will Be Sentenced!

scam-alertAround the same time that Sterling Currency Group was shut down another dinar site vanished from the internet. The Dinar Corp site vanished from the internet with little commentary on what was going on. The FBI seized the site and preserved their documents. What really happened?

“The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) today announced the unsealing of a civil enforcement action filed in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, charging Husam Tayeh of Oak Lawn, Illinois; Dinar Corp., Inc. (DCI), a Nevada corporation; and My Monex, Inc. (Monex NV), a Nevada corporation (collectively, the Defendants), with operating a fraudulent scheme involving foreign currency (forex), and failing to register with the CFTC as required by federal law. The CFTC Complaint further names Theodore S. Hudson, II and his company My Monex, Inc., an Alabama corporation (Monex AL), both of Dothan, Alabama, as Relief Defendants.”

Reading through the indictment many things came to light, but Iraq Currency Watch withheld commentary. The reason for this was because Dinar Corp had a bad habit of suing those who put negative comments about them on the internet. We have tangled with them before. I will go into a little more detail.

scam 2Sterling Currency Group was not the only dinar dealer that had a paid network of gurus. Dinar Corp had a network of gurus as well. Dinar Corp would sue individuals for making negative statements even if those statements were true. The idea was to shut down the person giving them a bad review. In many cases, they just threatened to sue and that was enough to get things removed from the internet.

The site Baghdad Invest can be a witness to this if they choose to do so. It did not matter if the information was true. The idea was to use the legal system to create a financial hardship to those who revealed anything about them. Their guru/pumper network would refer to this as shutting people down. This kind of lawsuit is called SLAPP.

A strategic lawsuit against public participation (SLAPP) is a lawsuit that is intended to censor, intimidate, and silence critics by burdening them with the cost of a legal defense until they abandon their criticism or opposition. In the process, Dinar Corp would settle by gaining websites ownership or removal of content. But the owner of the site would be punished by spending anywhere from seven to twenty thousand dollars on a legal defense.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_lawsuit_against_public_participation

These kinds of lawsuits are illegal in many states, but before you would be able to recoup any money, you would spend around seven thousand or so before you could even prove that you were dealing with a SLAPP case. Even then your money would be tied up for a while before you could recoup your losses. That is, if you recouped anything at all. So before the losses got too big most people would settle without receiving anything for their legal expenses.

The problem here was Dinar Corp had deep pockets and they could tie up anything they wanted even if they had no civil legal basis to do so. So they could threaten anyone and everyone. I don’t believe anyone was off limits.

When Dinar Douchebags was in operation someone entered a comment about Dinar Corp. They contacted Sam and demanded that he close his blog down and provide the names of everybody who contributed to his site. He never replied to them and a few months later they asked him to remove the comment and he complied with their request. The only problem was Dinar Douchebags was ranking in the Google search engine along with Dinar Corp. They subpoenaed Google and Yahoo for the records to Sam’s site. Sam used Blogspot (Google) and he had a Dinar Douchebag Yahoo email address. Once they got that information they released it to their pumper network and they went right to work. Doc Dinar started a post on Dinar Vets revealing the identity of Sam I Am. This was information that they received through their subpoenas.

Both Sam and myself were threatened in that DV post. We were going to be next on the litigation list. They sent Sam a subpoena to hand over his computer records so they could look through them. It was at that time we retained an attorney and quashed the subpoena, thus ending their fishing expedition.

The irony here is they said that Rod Saunders was facing criminal charges when in fact it was Dinar Corp that would wind up facing charges a couple of years later. I was mentioned in the same post even though at the time I had nothing to do with Sam’s blog site. I was going to be shut down along with Sam I Am because we were affecting sales and we came up high in the search engine results.

http://dinarvets.com/forums/index.php?/topic/148456-douchebags-exposed-criminal-charges-pending/

They were using criminal precedence to obtain civil subpoenas. Then they were making that information public through their guru network. Only law enforcement had the right to use the subpoena in this way. At least this was what our legal counsel said. Publishing  private information obtained in a subpoena for civil purposes was a big no no!

I gathered a war chest and some legal background.  We had lined up a great attorney and we were ready for battle. The idea here was to move any suit to Oklahoma through a change of venue and then counter sue. Next we would reveal any records they had through discovery. Dinar Corp decided not to pursue it any further. In the end, we were glad everything remained outside the court system.

Needless to say, we were happy to see their site shut down in 2015

“The CFTC Complaint was filed under seal on July 27, 2015, and that same date U.S. District Judge Myron H. Thompson issued an emergency Order freezing and preserving assets under Defendants’ and Relief Defendants’ control and prohibiting them from destroying documents or denying CFTC staff access to their books and records. The Court scheduled a hearing for August 10, 2015, on the CFTC’s separate motion for a preliminary injunction.”

But that is not the end of the story

“Tayeh created and operates DCI and Monex NV, business entities that he uses to facilitate the Defendants’ fraudulent activities and that act as the counterparty(s) in the subject agreements, contracts or transactions in forex. Defendants operate their fraudulent scheme via the Internet through the use of their website, by offering, and entering into, transactions in forex with non-ECP retail customers that are leveraged, margined or financed by the Defendants, and that result in actual delivery of forex – if at all – within periods of not less than 15 days and as much as 120 days following the date of the transaction(s).

The Complaint further alleges that in furtherance of the fraudulent scheme, Tayeh, individually and on behalf of DCI and Monex NV, made, and continues to make, material misrepresentations and omit material facts in solicitations to actual and prospective customers via the website, including but not limited to: (1) representing that DCI operates a “fully licensed and fully compliant licensed money services business” but failing to disclose that DCI has been served with cease and desist orders in the states of Texas and Illinois for operating without required licenses; (2) representing that DCI and Monex NV provide the “best price guaranteed” and the “best prices up front all the time” but failing to disclose that the forex transactions they offer to retail customers include significant finance charges; (3) failing to disclose that DCI and Monex NV are each operating as a registered foreign exchange dealer (RFED) without being registered with the Commission as required; and (4) failing to disclose that Tayeh is acting as an associated person (AP) of an RFED(s) without being registered with the CFTC as required. Relief Defendants Hudson and Monex are alleged to have accepted funds from the Defendants to which they have no legitimate claim.”

Now it has just come to my attention that Husam Usama Tayeh, 36, of Oak Lawn, Illinois, the owner of Dinar Corp, pleaded guilty to committing wire fraud! In the announcement of the conviction this comment was made by law enforcement authorities

“Mr. Borg of the Alabama Securities Commission added, “the Iraqi Dinar ‘investment opportunity’ is a scam that has existed for more than a decade and has regained some of its former popularity.”

I told everyone this was a scam in 2012. We took a lot of heat for exposing this thing. The more heat we took the more I was determined to expose it.

“At some date in the coming months, Chief United States District Judge W. Keith Watkins will sentence Tayeh.  At the sentencing hearing, Tayeh faces a maximum sentence of 20 years’ imprisonment as well as a fine.”

Now the government needs to round up some of these gurus. They should not get away with the profits they made from supporting this currency scam. They played a vital role in keeping this whole thing going! They are just as guilty of fraud!

The following sites have been sponsored by Dinar Corp, and have (or had) gurus/pumpers who have been promoting this idea of an impending substantial revaluation for several years.

Those Wacky Annunaki

Dave-Schmidt 2Guru Dave Schmidt has gone from discussing private exchanges for the RV, to a global currency reset and prosperity packages courtesy of the Dragon Family in Southeast Asia, to interacting with the Annunaki.  If you don’t know who the Annunaki are, Wikipedia says they are “a group of deities in ancient Mesopotamian cultures”.  Some say that they are essentially the same as the Nephilim from Genesis 6 in the Bible.  Others make a connection of the Annunaki with UFOs.  This is where Dave comes in.

Last week Dave promoted an upcoming workshop where Michael Lee Hill will be participating.  If you don’t know who MLH is, here’s a brief bio.

Michael Lee Hill of Eastlake near Cleveland, Ohio is a musician, filmographer and UFO experiencer. He also claims to be an Anunnaki contactee. This 47-year-old rocker said over the years, he has developed an intuitive and benevolent relationship with these aliens. Michael said his UFO/alien experiences began when he was a child growing up in Eastlake, Ohio.

“My first UFO sighting was as a child, 8 or 9 years old. I was traveling in my aunt’s car and could see a saucer-type UFO right over the telephone poles. It was that low. Nobody else could see it. I thought that was odd. I was confused as to why no one else could see it.”…

Back to Michael’s meeting with the Anunnaki, he explained that they looked just like humans but when he first met them, “their faces became faceless, as if there was a shadow that tracked their head movements shadowing their faces. I have seen one Anunnaki individual look as if he had become translucent, as if his body was made from a very fine flame of some sort.” He added that he learned “from some insider friends” that the “Anunnaki are capable of projecting an image that they wants your senses to perceive in a way that will impress you and understand that he is ‘special’ and ‘superior.’ Given their higher cellular capacity, they are able to manipulate perceptual inputs into our brain, making things appear to be as they are not. But they do not have the capacity to shape shift.”

Michael said the “mind probing” on their part turned their get together into more of an interrogation. Then all of a sudden, “this leader figure became very excited stating, ‘Oh my god. You are one of us! How did you come to be here? We have been waiting for you to have a council meeting; we can do that right now if you please?’ I said regarding what? They said it would not be long until there would be another planet visible in our skies and they wanted to talk about what effect we believed this and the Anunnaki revealing themselves would have on humanity.”

Michael said the being sitting before him was “a king” of the Anunnaki and he assumed it must be Marduk.  “He went on to tell me that he was what is known as the Anunnaki and that I am also a part of this Anunnaki family, and it was a great synchronicity that I was ‘led’ there because now a meeting could commence between us all over a ‘change in Anunnaki leadership,’ and there would be a new time arriving for mankind and a new ‘game plan’ needed to be discussed. They told me the truth of the situation was that another members of the Anunnaki and I had incarnated into this lifetime as a humans in every way to be here for these changes. The Anunnaki Loki then intervened and said I have spoken with Michael already and he believes as I that humanity is ready for open contact and that humanity should have the chance to evolve into a galactic society, (that) they are ready.”

So now you know a bit about MLH and what you can expect from Davie’s “workshop”.  If you think listening to a guy who sees extra-terrestrials and who thinks he’s actually a modern day Annunaki is worth $129 of your hard earned money (not including any travel expenses to Sedona, AZ) then honest to God, I just can’t muster up any sympathy for you.  You have reached the point of no return.  You have gone from currency speculation to munching on magic metaphysical mushrooms.  You have popped the proverbial blue pill, never to grasp the red pill of reality again IMO.

When I started blogging about the dinar I was mostly addressing the shady backgrounds of various dinar gurus and the reasoning behind rejecting the “RV”.  But now, this is what we’ve come to.  This is incredibly sad.  People have taken leave of their senses to the point where they actually believe that their financial welfare would be well served by learning about secret gold stashed away by some Chinese “royal family” that will soon be handing out billions of dollars to worthy recipients, and by listening to a rock musician’s UFO hallucinations featuring ancient Mesopotamian deities.  This just shows to go you how empty this dinar RV well has become.

July Update

Hello again, and happy July 4th.  As we celebrate the 240th anniversary of our independence from England I am also celebrating the 5th anniversary of my independence from the gurus.  You see, it was their failed predictions of an RV in June of 2011 that prompted me to research the dinar for myself which is why I am here today. Hopefully Marcus and I will be able to help more dinarians to gain their independence as well.
sdf
As I’m sure you noticed, the dinar went nowhere in June.  That’s because the CBI (Central Bank of Iraq for the newbies) didn’t want it to.  They may have no choice before long, however.  The lower oil prices and the cost of fighting ISIS (not to mention the drop in dinar sales which was their #2 export) has brought about an economic crunch in the country, which could drive the dinar’s value down even further.  Look for another drop by the end of the year to around 1190:1.  If they even survive until then.  Take a look at this.

The International Monetary Fund has agreed to give Iraq a three-year $5.4bn bailout to help it manage the economic fallout of its war against Isis and low oil prices that have left a gaping hole in its budget.
The new rescue package, which the IMF said should be accompanied by assistance from other members of the international community, will require the government in Baghdad to implement unpopular cuts in public spending and other reforms at a time when the economy is already reeling.
“Iraq has been hit hard by the conflict with Isis and the precipitous fall in oil prices,” said Christian Josz, IMF mission chief for Iraq.
He added that the conflict with Isis had left more than 4m Iraqis internally displaced and was straining resources, while the steep fall in oil prices was “causing a large external shock to the balance of payments and budget revenue, which depend predominantly on oil export receipts”.
UN diplomats in Baghdad and officials in Washington say Iraq’s foreign backers are determined to get support to Iraq at a time when both the central government and the semi-autonomous Kurdistan administration in the north — both critical in the fight against Isis — look on the verge of economic collapse. With no money for repairs, several cities recaptured from Isis still lie in ruins.
However, Iraqi politicians privately said last week that the government may not be able to meet the terms of the IMF deal — which include fighting corruption and money laundering, as well as cutting subsidies and raising taxes.
Haidar al-Abadi, prime minister, is struggling to combat the patronage system, which has enriched Iraqi politicians since the US occupation of 2003. As well as facing rebellion from an elite struggling to keep privileges, Mr Abadi has been grappling with turmoil on the streets. Protesters led by Muqtada Sadr, a Shia cleric, last month ransacked parliament, demanding reform.
Last summer protests raged in several cities over shoddy electricity and water services. Politicians fear the unrest could return if they try to cut subsidies or increase taxes — especially if services do not improve.
Oil income used to account for 95 per cent of government revenues, but the price of Iraq’s oil has fallen from $103 per barrel at the end of 2013 to $22-23 per barrel earlier this year.
The low price, combined with continuing high public spending, has left a budget gap that the IMF forecast would reach $17bn this year, or 12 per cent of GDP.
To address the shortfall, the IMF has been working on a multi-billion-dollar programme with the government that includes participation of institutions such as the World Bank and G7 countries such as the US. In December, the IMF said it was lending $1.2bn to Baghdad,
Mr Josz said the IMF had agreed with the government on a three-year programme of economic and financial policies to bring spending in line with lower oil revenues and ensure the sustainability of debts. However, he cautioned that the measures would still need broad international support.
“The Iraqi authorities deserve the support of the international community in the implementation of these policies,” he said.
The new programme marks the third time in the past six years that Baghdad has turned to the IMF for help. A previous $3.7bn bailout expired in February 2013, and the Fund made a $1.2bn disbursement in July 2015.

And then there’s this:

baghdad bombing
 sdf
The gurus won’t admit it but Iraq is on the verge of becoming a failed state.  The last thing on their minds is making Western investors rich by raising the value of their currency to an unprecedented level.  They’re just trying to feed their people, prevent civil war, and keep Iraq from falling into the hands of radicals.  Our government doesn’t seem too inclined to do much to help, so that’s a pretty tall order for Iraq to handle on their own.
 sdf
You may have noticed that Dinar Daddy’s website is down.  It’s been that way for over a month now.  No idea why but as soon as I hear something I’ll pass that along.

As for ICW, we’ve got a few more videos to upload on YouTube and another podcast coming.  The other day Marcus and I had the opportunity to chat a bit with Nick Giammarino, from the Global Currency Reset YouTube channel.  Nick discovered the dinar “investment” in late 2013, and shortly thereafter discovered our blogs where he got the answers he was looking for.  He has a large following on YouTube and as a result he has a certain amount of pull in the dinar community.  So be looking for that.  Until next time.

Dave Schmidt’s Gold Heist

dave-schmidtIt was recently brought to my attention that Dave Schmidt, the former Washington state senator turned dinar guru, has a photo of a gold vault on his website where he says:
.
“… we are moving into the new “Golden Age” where the world’s gold will be released for a shift and change to our planet and our world.  Dave has countless photos of this gold that is beyond most people’s comprehension.  This gold has been kept hidden from the public for thousands of years and is kept in custody by “keepers” at various locations around the world.”
.
The photo accompanying the text is presumably one of those hidden gold locations that he mentioned, but it turns out that it’s actually a vault in the UK that was used as a dining hall during WWII. Seems Davie heisted the photo from a UK news site.  (Thanks to RamblerNash at Dinar Daily for pointing this out to me.)  The first photo below is a screenshot from Dave’s site, and the second photo is from a UK news article about the London vault.

Can you say “busted”?  Now, Dave might claim that he never stated that this photo was from the secret stash, but I think the implication is obvious.  Anybody reading his site and seeing that photo is going to assume that this is supposed to be a photo of one of those secret vaults.  But I’ll tell ya what Dave … shows us the real photos along with some evidence that this gold exists and I’ll drop the matter.  Introduce us to this nameless, faceless “ambassador” you’ve been talking to about the Dragon Family’s gold, along with some evidence that the Dragon Family actually exists and I’ll remove this post.  For that matter, make one prediction about something … ANYTHING … that proves that you actually have any information worth listening to and I’ll humbly apologize for all of the “nasty” things I’ve said about you.  In the meantime, you remain on my Schmidt list.

See this page for gold photos
