Why The Iraqi Dinar Will Never Revalue Part 1

podcast 7Sam I Am came by the studio last week. We began to have a discussion about the pending indictment for Sterling Currency Group. The case was brought before a grand jury on February 10th. The indictment was handed down soon after.

It comes as no surprise that many of these dinar gurus are paid by dealers to lie about the currency. In fact, some of these guys are paid well. The biggest problem is that they are lying about basic economics. They throw out junk economic terms with half meanings in order to fool people who have no background in economics. This includes most of the population.

45c98-sam252822529Before the dinar I could care less about economics. I only learned about this subject as an investor. The more I learned the more I knew I was scammed! If more people knew why it is impossible for the dinar to have a massive revalue like the gurus claim then there would be no one left to scam.

5575f-marcusSo while Sam and I had our chat we decided to do a podcast explaining the basic economics of this guru fiction and why it is impossible for the dinar to revalue in this manner. By the time your done you should know why the revalue or any revalue with any currency like the gurus describe is purely fictional. We had a long chat and it is broken down into two separate podcasts. Here is part 1

  1. –ANOTHER DERIVATIVE IN YOUR ENCLAVE OF EXPERTISE… THAT YOU SO DILIGENTLY……. BUILT UP WITH YOUR PROFESSIONAL MUSICAL ATTRIBUTES …….AS WELL AS INSTRUCTIONAL LESSONS IN THE ART OF MUSIC…….. AND NOW YOU’RE WIDENING YOUR BOUNDARIES OF PROFESSORSHIP INTO THE THEORIES AND CONCEPTS OF ECONOMICS. WE’RE NOT SPEAKING OF ECON 101…… BUT RATHER PHILOSOPHICAL THEORIES IN VARIOUS MARKETS AND INTERNATIONAL MONETARY POLICY. LEAST BE SAID…SOMEWHERE WE WILL TOUCH UPON MACRO AND MICRO ANALYSIS FOLLOWED BY COMPUTATIONAL MODELS OF HISTORICAL CURRENCY FLUCTUATIONS.

I AM JUST ONE OF THOSE DUMMIES THAT INVESTED IN THE DINAR TEN YRS BACK, JUST-A-NAIVE MEDICAL FIELD GRUNT THAT COULD BARELY BALANCE MY CHECK BOOK…. I BOUGHT DINAR ONCE, NO MORE THAN I COULD AFFORD, WITHOUT GOING INTO HOCK. OF COURSE I LISTENED TO [I ASSUMED] EXPERTS…. MY FATHER [A BANKER WITH BARCLAYS INTERNATIONAL], JUNI – AN ATTORNEY/LAW-PROFESSOR AT AUBURN NAMED CHERYL, HOGGEY [RETIRED ACCOUNTANT WITH THE GOVT….USA OF COURSE-REAGAN ADM] AND FIVE OR SIX ASTUTE WALL STREETER [LET’S ASSUME CROOKS] IN LARGE FIRMS. NOW YOU ARE ENCOURAGING AND REASSURING ME …..THAT I AM NOT ONLY A FOOL BUT A POOR JUDGE OF CHARACTER.

YOU AND SAMIAM KNOW MORE ABOUT CURRENCY MANIPULATION AND HISTORICAL POWER OF PROGNOSTICATING….. THAN MOST. I HAVE A REASONABLE SCOPE ON YOU BUT SAMIAM QUALIFIES AS A EXPERT-CRITIC WITHOUT CREDENTIALS.

SAM , I DON’T KNOW [NOR CARE-TO-KNOW]……BUT MARCUS ….MY ISSUE CENTERS ON YOU. YOU PROFESS CHRISTIANITY…….I HAVE NO DOUBT….I HAVE FOLLOWED YOUR [MANY] POSTS.

CHRISTIANITY IS NOT ARROGANT. IT TEACHES HUMILITY AND LOVE TOWARDS OTHERS. IT DENIES HAVING EVEN THE INTENTION OF ARROGANCE. I HAVE STRUGGLED HERE-IN.

    • First of all, you’re right about the fact that we have no credentials in economics or currency speculation. That’s why we have provided links to dozens of organizations that have called the dinar investment a scam, including the BBB, the DOJ, BOA, Wells Fargo, the state of Utah, and writers from Forbes Magazine among others. To date I haven’t heard one reputable, qualified investment expert refer to the dinar investment as legit.

Second, Marcus and I bought dinar too so we can’t call you a dummy without calling ourselves dummies. It’s no disgrace to buy dinar out of ignorance, but it would be a shame if you hung on to it with unrealistic expectations after becoming informed and given the facts, which include the fact that the feds are now indicting and convicting the people promoting the scam.

And finally, yes Christianity isn’t arrogant, but it IS confrontational. Jesus didn’t hesitate to tell the Pharisees that they were ignorant about the scriptures as I recall. But again, we laugh at ourselves too, so how do you interpret this self-deprication as arrogance? The Bible says to expose the works of darkness, and I believe investment scams would qualify, especially when they are marketed toward the church community. Tens of thousand of Christians have poured tens of millions of dollars into this scam thinking that it’s a low risk venture with the potential for an incredible windfall when in fact it is high risk with virtually no profit potential. Marcus and I are only motivated by one thing – the truth. People haven’t heard much truth in the dinar forums.

I am one of those dummies that has invested in the dinar 5 years ago. I listened to many people back then. I believed every wild conspiracy theory that came along about money and I spent a long time researching this whole thing. It was very hard for me to find the truth in this whole mess. It took a tremendous amount of effort on my part. Sometimes it is hard to see the forest through the trees. I am amazed at the many conspiracy theories out there just about money itself.

It took years of going outside the dinar forums and reading things about economics from legitimate sites before I could even figure out what was true and what was false. This thing is very complicated and it is not an easy thing to grasp because there is a lot of false information out there.

It sounds like the people you confided in are very bright and intelligent. This whole dinar investment thing is complicated. You got to really dig to figure anything out. It was two years before I figured out that there was never a Kuwaiti revalue. That is the one thing that really sold me on this investment. I did keyword searches on news stories that were published on Kuwait around the year 1990. Every other time I searched on the subject forums would come up in the first 8 pages of the search engine claiming there was a Kuwaiti Revalue.

All that to say that this investment has fooled people who are way smarter then I am, and it has fooled me too. I am no better. The only thing I have done differently is my relentless pursuit of the facts. Because in the end people will believe what they really want to believe. It does not make them foolish or dumb. It is just a part of human nature.

The things we talked about in this Podcast are pretty basic and they are meant to provide a basic understanding as to the meaning of the terms revalue and devalue. We do use china as an example but for the most part it explains how the current system works regarding revalues. It is really not an advanced concept and it is not complicated. It is meant to defeat the lies told by some of these gurus, especially one who now faces criminal charges.

  2. Marcus. I think “The Lady doth protest too much”  For someone who has sworn off the Dinar you have spent an inordinate amount of time telling all of us why we should dump the Dinar. It feels like you are doing that to help the Central bank of Iraq get the dinar back into Iraq so they don’t have to pay out so much. If you were legitimate we would never hear from u again. Don’t respond that you are “protecting” us it seems feeble. HL George

    • @Howard Keep clinging to your conspiracy theories they seem to be serving you well. I think it is ironic that instead of attacking the things we say you attack our character so I will ask you straight up. What part have we got wrong? what information is incorrect?

Before you respond you should know that I can supply thousands of links to verify everything we just said. These are not forum links were people make up their own forum facts. Rather than question our motive judge the things we say and see if their is any truth in it. Regardless of your feelings for us we have spoken the truth.

” The Lady doth Protest too much” First you should realize that I am not a lady even though I understand your misapplied quote. You miss the point entirely. It is not whether or not I am legit, Because I am no better than anyone else who has invested. What matters the most is this one thing. Do I speak the truth? If not then how have I deceived anyone?

If you can’t answer those basic questions then it matters not what you think of me for I have presented the facts. It is up to you to either accept the information or reject it based on some wild unproven conspiracy nonsense. The choice is yours

    • Howard,
Even if one were to grant that such a conspiracy could exist, one has to first ask whether or not convincing people to sell IQD back to the CBI changes anything with regard to the possibility of an RV occurring. The answer of course is no. When IQD comes into the CBI that lowers the money supply, but also lowers the CBI’s reserves in exact proportion to the exchange rate. So the ratio of the money supply to the reserves before the IQD were returned, is the same as afterward. Your speculation about such conspiracies suffers from the same lack of “doing the math” as the entire Dinar scam. A little arithmetic shows that neither are possible.
